From Concept to Canvas – Oil And Acrylic

How does a professional do it?  What are the tips and tricks? Learn to plan and execute your painting with details you can be proud of.  Learn long term skills you can use for years to come.

Small in-depth classes geared to individual learning.  The first session is planning your painting and beginning the foundation of your painting.

Dates for the sessions are:

Session 1: Planning your painting – Building the Foundation

 – The background of the painting establishes the setting, the mood, and total direction of the painting.  —October 1, 2018 6:00 p.m.  at Hobby Lobby in Statesville.

Each session $28.00 or $55.00 for all three.

Session 2: Good Bones – A Good framework is essential!

Each session $28.00 or $55.00 for all three.

Session 3: The Icing on the Cake

This class is all about the finishing touches.  Shadows? Sheen? Shimmer?  Depth, Cohesion? All the things that give you the finished work that says “Perfection!”   Many artists stop at step two and are never happy with their work.  It is only after it is “finished” that it becomes the “Artwork” you conceived in your first concept.  October 29, 2018 6:00 p.m.    at Hobby Lobby in Statesville.
