Drawing in Graphite

Graphite Classes for All Ages

A successful drawing in Graphite has a mystery, a mood, that is communicated to the viewer.  If the artist has done their job, it is well understood. But it isn’t a hard thing to do, it only requires a few… tips and tricks… of the trade to create breath taking drawings in Graphite.  It isn’t about how well you draw, but how you present the subject, and that is part of what we stress with Graphite lessons.  All our classes teach forms of “Drawing”, but the Graphite class emphasizes methods of working the drawing board to gain maximum impact.

I teach all my classes for – beginners to advanced – so you can begin with the most basic classes or take the more advanced classes. The Basic Class is the “Family Class”  But beginners are also welcome in the Introduction to Graphite class as well!

I teach three  different types of drawing classes:

“Little Hands”  Children  –  Ages 4-6  for information about these classes click here:  Little Hands

“Family classes” – Ages 7-to Adult – These classes are designed for young or new artists, young or old. This class is set up for individuals or a child and parent.  Individual children or adults are welcome to attend, but if an adult wishes to attend with a child, the child’s rate is discounted. (But only with accompanying adult)  For more information click here: Family Class

“Introduction to Drawing  , Graphite Tips and Tricks  – Ages 12 to Adult   – For more information click here:  Introduction to Drawing

This class is about HOW TO DRAW.  How to capture form, and shape.  Gesture Drawing.  Outlining. Sketching.  Creating 3d, from plain white paper.  Teaching you how to see, so you can create the image you want to create.  Using methodology that helps anyone draw any object they want.  Check the Calendar for classes that fit your schedule.  Calendar
